when you run 10 hotbars that gets a little tough. I use num keys for my dps buttons, I have keyboard binds for my short terms, but I have to click cure pots, arcane click to cures, temp items, swappable items (trak orb wewt) and all that shit.

well, dont know if there were changes, but

macroing MF to youself wont work anymore the described ways

tried with

1. /useabilityonplayer <myname> Mana Flow -> MF still lands in targeted grp

2. macro w /target_group_member 0 + cast + /target_previous -> this works, but not always, i think if there are slight lags or sth the macro can mess up the lines...reason is how mechanics of macroing are working
some dev stated once, that if a macro is hit, all lines are worked up in the same moment....well, its hard to believe how one can program such bullshit, especially in a binary world Oo
however, i often saw the MF hitting targeted group, rather mine...that means lines are ignored or sth else, and i believe its due to lags

3. method w unequipping myth, building macro w me as target and reequip myth -> MF lands in other group

so in the end, i did not found any working macro for this yet, other experienced coercers on my server stated the same, though i'm not sure if they tried everything/asked the right ppl

are there other approaches on this?

i use profit too, so i have a workaround on this, though i'm not happy with it bc i want MF in my hotbars
i thought profits hotbuttons are programmed same way as method 1, but then method 1 should work either...it isn't...

anyone pls?

Why do you want to cast mf on yourself again? just hit f1, cast it and while casting choose whatever target you want.. but again.. why u don't just use the raidbuttons while u don't even have to change the target.

So you want to cast Manaflow on your own group?

Why don't you just slam escape, then cast MF, then use your /assist macro to target whatever has to be killed?

To be honest, I did option 3 only a few days ago and it worked fine for me... even was able to set it up with other people as the target to make multiple macros as well. Though, I *don't* use profit, so not sure if that has anything to do with it.

@Other comments about manaflowing yourself: I personally found making a manaflow macro on myself was pretty useful actually. It afforded me the opportunity to manaflow a target that no one would make as their target (ie an "overly helpful" illy manaflowing out of group) therefore not having to worry about the 30 sec immune. (At least by now our other chanters *know* not to manaflow me LOL)

Also, it makes it VERY easy to just click the manaflow and go back to nuking without the use of additional macros or change in targets, as using the macro on myself never changes my primary target. Ie I can have the tank or mob targetted, hit manaflow, have it go off on my group (or group I have macroed), but still be looking and nuking the target with no interruption.

And since manaflow procs Perpetuality, I found it a nice little easy button to hop up to max perp quickly between pulls.

Just my 2 cents.

Don't like macroing cause the target can die... (mf for other groups)

Why would you need to unequip your myth to macro yourself? I'm at work and never actually macroed MF so if someone could explain this perhaps.

Because with Myth equipped it acts as a group buff and therefore when trying to macro it there is no Target text box thingymajig.
