Hey everyone! Long time no see..

Hope all is well with the coercer class and such.

Was wondering if there were a few here that can feel me in on the class - it's been over 7 months and i was just curious how has the game changed.

I will say.. i just saw some post GU52 parses and i'm insanely impressed. I still remember when there were only 2-3 of us that could consistently parse 8.5k - 9k and now people are hitting 10-13ks.

RL has been good to me. Got a new girl and bought a new house. Scary thing is that she had a friend come in from town that plays eq2 with another friend that stopped playing who said he would start playing hc again if your g/f plays. I was like shoot... i dont know if i can do that. that's like a wet dream for sure. the love of your life playing vid games witcha ;0.

So what's new?
-who are the top coercers skill/dps wise?
-who are the better guilds out and about?
-anyone have any good links to watch guild raid vids. when i quit we were just starting the new raid zones in december. I'm sure people got vids up on some of the progress.

hey man, welcome back

Coercers DPS-wise, it's Parable and Poemaon up top, I guess according to what people have posted I'm 3rd, but I'll catch up

As Milambers said, Surreal over on Barren Sky and Exo are top 2, but they're both Euro guilds. Top US guild is Strike right now.

No help on the vids, sorry.

hell yeah man - fnar was a dope corecer. dps was sick but his solo play was even sicker. just checking in to see what's been going down. sadly enough - if .. and only if i get back into this game.. it would probably be casual play but dont know if i even want to bother as you all know that once you go HC and quit then try to come back.. you only get yourself into trouble..

casting orders more or less the same? any crazy gear that people are all over in TSO?

Yeah before the proc nerf there was a HUGE difference between an Avatar geared player and one that wasn't, not so much in previous expansions. There still is a large difference, its just not as large.

Casting order is still pretty much the same, you just do anywhere from 2-4x as much dps as in RoK. heh.

I'd argue the two most gamebreaking pieces are the Ancient Robe of the Disciple and the Bertox Charm, followed closely by the Anashti Belt and the Trickster Wrist.

Basically, they loaded up on base damage this X-Pac, so finding other stuff is even more key now.

Glad to see you still around, Jibo.

Sure you heard about the proc nerfs, making items that were primarily proc-based kinda bad, while making base-damage and spell crit bonus items the most desirable, and ended up making set pieces basically the de-facto best armor-gear choices for at least 4-5 slots. Spell names got changed to be one spell upgraded over and over, so spell names in the future will be easier to follow. Other than that, alot of the game is the same as when you left it, like others said, spell order is the same, etc. Only thing you'll be missing are gear, aa, and experience.

New expansion not coming out til February, so you got plenty of time even if you raid casually to gear up. Set pieces rot regularly to raids, most people have fully geared alts.

Guilds were covered already, it's the Euro's by a long shot. I've been rebuilding my guild as the leader in the time I have. Due to this, sadly I've fallen behind in my coercing, since I'm almost always playing healer, tank, or boxing spot while I wait on recruits to apply or gear up. As well, with the mind of improving the guild, I've been trying to pass on certain items that would be the end game upgrades for good old Revel; you have to make some sacrifices, right?
