Default Signet of Betrayal and Enraging Demeanor

Being an MT Coercer, I was wondering if it would be beneficial to wear the Signet of Betrayal? When coupled with Enraging Demeanor will it boost the MT aggro control or just cause me to die more?

Just curious. I searched the forums but found no thread that addressed this question.

Has a chance to betray the wearer by calling unwanted attention to itself

that means you get +1 Position in hate list, and i dont think you wanna tank

It's one half dozen or the other. It could be a decent hate transfer item... however, you run the risk of pulling aggro with it and getting dirtnapped.

I personally think the ring is overrated. It was great pre-proc nerf, but now the proc doesn't do shit and everything else about it sucks. Its still decent for a bard, I guess.

Unfortunately unlike wrists and ears, there simply aren't a ton of good choices for the ring slot, just a handful.

Great ring it is ... just the aggro postion ups that are coming allway sin the worst cases making it unwearable :/ so a bit less dps and aggro is even bigger then maybe instant death while ring side effekt was proccing

So what about the wicked wand of malice? Increases threat by 1200 on each hostile spell, is that affected by the ED hate transfer?

Wicked wand of malice is terrific for use with hate transfer.
