Hello folks,
Before you burn me with flames... I have read a lot of posts here. Most of the casting order posts seem outdated (old spell names) or are geared to raiding coercers(max AA, kick ass gear etc). I'm just a pup (30's) and I only have 20ish AA at this point. What recommendations do you have for cast order while I grow up? I would like to learn the proper way to do things now if possible.

It is in fact a sticky.. Second thread on the Coercer Class Discussion page once it opens.. So one lesson outside of the well written FAQ, stay alert and keep your eyes open .

*EDIT: Old spell names or not, over 90% in the FAQ is still true and will help you out no matter what. Maybe if you ask Revel real nice he will update the spell names for you.

The spell names are not old, they are in the new format. Yes, they are listed for a level 80 toon.. but either you do not have the spell yet or you have a spell with a lesser roman numeral. Is it that confusing, or are my updates not saving? It's been fixed for at least a month.

The proper way to do things is to kill things and not die. In a group you will have to worry about taking aggro if the other person doesn't know how to do things. This spell order that is recommended is for a raid setup where hate is managed and everyone is assumed to be doing their roles.. not all classes have any guides to understand how to play their class, and not all players even think to understand.

spellcasting ist only needed for soloing or raid.. so if you search for a "group-play" casting order.. the fights are so fast that you really don't need any. I ran with debuff/reactive.. mob was dead most of the time. If you got encounter start with your encounter reactive followed by your groupspells to proc it.. easy really.
