i´d say get used to it. dying comes with high dps.
but do you only have those problems lately? did anything change? do you make much more dps now? the only reason of you dying i can imagine is you beeing very high on the hatelist. as you loose the hate transfer when the tank dies 1-2 high dmg spells put you on place 1 quickly. short term buffs are great for gettting aggro too so if you cast Ghost healing or whatever its called in english bevor your tank went down that might also be another reason for increased aggro.
usually its just the highest parsers (or fastest casters on memwipe mobs) that get to kiss the floor a lot :-)
if the mob comes running from a long distance you could use trakanons gaze as a last resort if you can get a hold of it. (you can switch it in and out of the slot during the fight with a macro) this sure saves me a lot of times! many people seem to think traks gaze only helps until your very next spell puts you on your old position on the hate list again and dont bother to spend dkp on it. but i made other experiences and highly recommend it. After using trakanons gaze i climb back up the hatelist step by step. it buys me a LOT of time for dps. usually like 15-30 sec or whatever bevor i´m in the 80ies again.
another desperate measure can be casting manaward on yourself and moving TOWARDS the tank hoping that he can land a rescue spell on time.
on some mobs you can even use crowd controll. i tend to forget about it in raidzones myself but many adds are just normal heroics and can be stunned/mezzed. even epic mobs can be stunned etc but it only buys you like 0,5 sec or whatever and if the second tank is slacking he wont get the mob off you on time anyways
slacking tanks or slacking ammend targets are the main reason for me dying anyways cause i wont slack for sure hehehe. a high dps coercerer keeps a tanks wits sharpened cause of our extrem dps peaks when our reactives are up.
cause you mentoned Xebnoc beeing your top killer... we usually have 3 tanks there cause our roost is a bit heavy on the melee and tank side anyways. 2 on xebnok and a third to tank the adds.
the 3rd tanks duty is also to intercept xebnok or whatever else might head topwards the raid so i really dont understand why you have to die so often specially when xebnok has to run across the whole room to get to you. slackers everywhere :-)
