Re: Coercer Power Issues
Mana Ward protects hitpoints.
Mana Cloak is on a fairly short reuse, so when your tank is at about 70% power or lower you can feel free to use it. The best time for it is when an AE is coming in, so that the rest of your group will get at least 1 tick of the regen.
Mana flow depends on the fight. On some fights, power is no issue, and I will not mana flow anyone other than myself possibly if I start to run low. On fights with power drains though, or where high power is a must, then I mana flow early and often, every time I can. Usually I stick to my own group for it, unless someone else desperately needs power. This of course is with the mythical, so mana flow is *much* more effective.
Mind's eye - keep it up if you can remember to recast it every 10 minutes. I will generally not worry much about it, and just refresh it before a named pull.
Channel is an awesome emergency spell. What people are talking about is hitting your manaflow on yourself, it will return 70% power to you, and 10% power to everyone in your group. Then with that power, you hit channel, and you're almost guaranteed to bring everyone in your group either close to full power or at least up to about 75%.
I use Channel whenever one of the key members of my group (other than the MT) has as serious power issue. Say the Defiler got ganked by an add, or the Templar took a power drain, I will immediately start my flow, then channel. Sometimes it's necessary, sometimes it's not, but I've found it's better to hit Channel and worry about the consequences afterward.
