Default To do list for a returning Coercer

Could anyone give me a general idea of what I need to do to get up to par again? I've been out of the game since DOF, lvl 60- raided end game before I quit. I need good advice in regards to lvling (more than likely solo until I hook up w/ ppl) and important quests/factions/items etc to pickup on up to 80. I'm a noob again

Wow, that's quite alot to learn. Solo questing is probably the easiest way if you're alone.

At 60, just head up to Loping Plains (either Gfay or BB druid portals over in Faydark). and try to do the quests there, and if you run out, try KoS (all 3 overland zones) to pick up quests and discoveries up there. At 67-70, you can head out to RoK (Kylong Plains) and that should get you to 70 easily. If you don't make it for some reason, head over to Moors at level 77, and consider also doing quests in Lavastorm at the docks because that quest line is very easy. You should still look for groups at jump at them, chances are people will want to mentor to kill named or do instances with you. Although your goal is to hit 80 so you can start gathering void shards, never pass up opportunities for AA, because they will help alot.

Void shards will end up making the majority of your gear, in the meantime, quested gear from RoK should suffice. Before that, well, I'm not sure what you should focus on, it's been a long time since I've been that low without powerleveling through it.

The new (40's to 50's) lavastorm questlines might be worth your time before you proceed further. The quests and gear there are "revamped" so have decent stats by todays standards for the level. By contrast, the items in Loping Plains and Kingdom of the Sky (even heroic content) is basically junk. Also, there are a lot of new collections there, and there is a combined reward that is a charm item from those collections which would most likely be good till you hit 80. The mobs will be grey to green so it might help you warm up and recall where your hotbars are before you move on to harder stuff.

If you left at 60, then you probably have literally no AA. Some people find getting the AA easier while low level, and some find it easier to rush to 80 and then go back for AA. Regardless, getting 200 AA is a LOT harder than getting to 80, so like Revel said, keep AA oportunities in mind as you go along. Luckily, with the new self-mentoring system going in, you can always go back to the lowbie stuff later.

I'd also recommend going to bonemire, quests there are easy, brock's thermal shocker retains use for a very long time as well. Not just for filling in gaps in spell casting, but it has a 10m range and can be used to tell if you're within shock wave range.

Plus corpse candle's and corpse flames are some of the last really good pets to use. Can go there and charm corpse candles at 60 too.

And like Revel said, head to Kylong Plains around 67, and the Lavastorm quests are fast and there's a decent ring from there.

Solo quest running will be your most efficient method of both getting to level 80 and getting AA's that you're missing. Also worthwhile is picking up all the Lore and Legends that you're missing.
