Don't know if i saw it anywhere...any thoughts on the craziness there?

i'm just a 76, and i'm just getting smoked. most to the people are of course 80's, and i'm thinking there might be a difference between the gear that can be used.

i don't expect to live long in the crazy battle...basically i go in and hit psychic wail, then hit a group stun or group mez, then try to back out or move to avoid getting tracked. if someone does target me, i'm toast.

is anybody below 80 having any better luck?

Not quite sure why this is in the coercer section, but yes the PvP lately at TG can reach crazy proportions.

best bet if you really want to PvP there is to get level 80 and get a healer.

because i'm a coercer, and i was asking this "great" community if they had any suggestions.

also trying to find out if it'll be any easier once i hit 80 and start getting good gear.

• getting targeted: do we have any de-target capability? do the hate-transfer functions we have work on PVP? like Thought-Snap or Amnesia or the Stamina AA skill the drops your hate by more than 1000 points? or bewilderment?
  
• getting targeted 2: with a crazy battle going on, is there some way to figure out who's got you targeted? Does amnesia or blink or TS or any of the detargeting skills we have work if i'm not targeting the guy who's targeting me?
  
• gear and getting killed: at 80 and with whatever gear is available, do we still get one-shotted or killed in 3 seconds so easilty?
  
  

i know i'm under-level, but it's not my fault half the KP quest turn-ins are at TG...where all the PVP is. since i'm there, i might as well join in.

i'd like to think that a non-80 coercer can help, since we can still throw some group stuns, mez...a little tash here and there...drop in some hex doll play to slow someone down or lower there physical mit. i'm just trying to see if i can help a little and still stay alive for a little while.

You will always get killed in 3 sec without a healer and w/o some translocation (or how is that proc called?) gear, while being focused. In 1v1 however it takes way too long to kill a pvp-equipped mage with all that ward and stoneskin shit. Get a decent templar who can keep you alife against a 5 to 10 ppl focus and get to 80 and raid yourself some gear not to suck.
