Default Mana flow priority

Raiding today in SoH and got to maestro and byzola at the time was the only coercer in my mind the priority is the tank his power kept getting wiped along with others in the raid. I hear little remarks such as "oh I wish <insert other coercer name here> was here . I'm trying to keep the tank and his healers power up am i wrong in focusing on the MT group and throwing manaflows to the other 3 groups when our power seems stable or whenever i happen to get a chance i dunno kinda irked me. my thinking was hell if MT and his healers don't have power we're all fucked anyways auto attack ftw!

oh yeah 2 illys in the other groups /shrug any input would be helpful

We did maestro with 3 groups yesterday, I rarely used manaflow on my group because there was no mana issue. If someone got hit by the ae midway I used channel. Manaflowed full time the other groups. I weared the robe of dark power and the ring from drushk with group manaproc.

Problem is not your manaflow.. problem is people who don't know how the fuck to play or where they have to stand at what moment. Some people seem to expect having a coercer in group will provide full time 100% mana even if they die all the time.

Success for this mob is moving at the right moment, curing curse, using item on maestro all time, curing arcane...

If this is not happening mana is the last your raid should think about.

If you're in the MT group and your group is having power issues, then that's what you should be dealing with. It's like a healer, you take care of your shit in group first, then deal with what's left.

If they were wishing the other dude was there, hopefully it was so you'd have two coercers, one of which could be throwing flow to the other 3 groups while you kept the MT group steady. Otherwise maybe you smell funny or something...

but adding to what senelin said.. fi your group has issues deal with it however imo if there is one group outof the 4 that shouldn't have as many issues as the rest - i would think it would be the mt group. Most of them have the better gear and what not to make power management seem easy. along with having a coercer fo course heh.

There is only so much you can do as a coercer for power. If you are in MT, that should be your priority.
And as far as I know you shouldn't have any power problems if people joust that trauma thingy.

The fact that the 2 illy's were unable to keep their groups power up means they were sucking .

I never have any power problems while doing SoH but my guild isn't doing to shabby gear/progression-wise.

Or their group members got feared and didn't get back in range of the myth proc.

Manaflow whoever needs it, with priority on teh mt group because quite frankly, if the mt healers dont have power, your tank is probably going to die...

I usually find myself feeding groups with an inquisitor as ours seem to be mana vacuums. Even on some of the more power intensive fights like Zarakon and Anashti I can maintain my groups power with Cannibalize thought and shroud with one or 2 feeds and a channel every so often while maintaining feeds on other groups that arent doing so good. Our MT group usually has at least 1 Zarakon belt though which is hax.

our guilds mana vac is a defiler, soo i jus leave him to sort himself out. like frog and jibo said the MT grp should be easy look after, leaving time for you to fix up those dps grps.

If you have your myth, don't bother casting manaflow directly on the MT. Cast it on a scout or someone else in the MT group. Illys like to be helpful and will use their flow on the MT/MT healer a lot, but they give a 30 sec immunity which can be annoying when trying to flow. Cast it on someone else in the group and the MT still gets the benefits, and you don't get the time-wasting error. That is, if your guild allows illys to flow cross group...

Use manaflow on other groups always on others than the one which need mana so their illy can single feed them...
