As for the Cataclysmic Mind change, you'd really need to re-balance it. I mean it'd be cool and all, but wow that would be insane damage. Oh look, the enchanters are chain power draining the mob and this Coercer is doing 5k dps. Because that would happen if it was 4x damage of the power drain. You'd be getting 2 10k+ nukes or dots totalling 10k every 30s for every enchanter in the raid. Reason why 10k+, my power drains do 1.5k, and 2k-2.4k with VM/Dark Orb up, you'd get 6k and 8-10k respectively before debuffs, add in debuffs and it'd probably 9k and 12-15k nukes. Something would have to change, it'd probably have to be 50% instead of 400% for power drains, just because of how insane damage you could get by loading your scouts up with mental breach poison, as it'd increase raid-dps more than normal poisons would at 400%.
An example would be that Cataclysmic Mind alone if kept up on Mayong contested would add almost 1000dps. CMayong had a total of 147727 power drained our last fight, which would mean 590908 damage would be done from Cataclysmic Mind, the fight(with 22 people) was 8:17 in duration, 1188dps would be added just from Cataclysmic Mind, and that's without people really trying to drain the mob's power. I mean, scouts poison list a 832 drain for me, which would mean 3.2k damage per time it hits, which is about 2.5x as much as tender poisons list. That dps increase for a raid would be sick. Although, if they made it 50% for power drains, it wouldn't be overpowered at all, and in that fight listed it would only add a total of 148.6 dps.
Although, I just don't see this ever happening, TBH. Pretty sure I've seen this Cataclysmic Mind comment a long time ago though. Of course, an easier way to make power drains, and cataclysmic mind useful is to make them %-based drains, and make epic mobs have power pools that aren't insanely large and make their abilities actually use real amounts of power rather than casting level 1 nukes that use fuck all power. Though, they really don't want to do that at all for some odd reason :\
