a chanter shouldent be parsing as high as a summoner but i agree brig should be above the fighter class unless the zerker is MT and benefiting from the groups buffs.. btw this post is supper fluff it depends on player .. i still group/raid with people from time to time that cant understand how my dps is so high since the summoners they group/raid dont do that kind of dmg.

Dunno ive seen some zerks parse really nice and brigs seem to spike a lot which isnt good for zw's but yes it is fluff and personal opinion as many of us have seen really good parsers of certain classes and we always seem to remember those good parsers

yea i just saw that about no group buffs.. hard to say to say what people can do with no group buffs.. ass,swash,summoner,soc at least 1.8
enchanter(buff class? do they count?),brig,good zerk 1.5

not even gonna finish this. long story short get some buff classes or your raid force is gonna suck = P

I know , I just want an honest answer for every class so when someone gets screwed on buffs ( and that always happens since i dont think many guild get the right people logged on every night ) he dont parse 600 and say he doesnt have the good buffs. I dont mean everyone doesnt have buffs , maybe just 1 or 2.. having a reference for all of them is always handy.

so many classes sponge dps off of other buffing classes (esp bards and chanters) that it's very difficult to meet any of your criteria

as a troub, I can do around 1k - 1.4k or so with my buffs on a well debuffed mob

Yea there are going to be differences among players for sure, I was just posting from personal experience with some influence from parses I've seen thrown around on here... I agree its a pretty fluff thread, cause it isn't something you can nail down a fair bit of it is going to ride gear and buff quality. But at the same time there is some sense of maybe not tiers but wide differences in dps potential for classes, for instance Defiler or something isn't going to parse like a Ranger or Wizard would, I mean anyone could outline it roughly.

I'm not in WW caliber guild and Everfrost guilds are pretty inbred so I've been raiding with more or less the same ~70 people the last 2 years, so I don't claim to have seen all there is to see. I don't claim to be the authority on all 24 classes - I was just trying to throw out some idea of where I would expect players to be landing from what I've seen in terms of good and bad parsing players.
