Default 100% hit rates?

Casters are getting nearly 100% hit rates in zones like VP and putting up some insane numbers. Is this intended, are scouts supposed to be at their normal hit %, but mages are supposed to be upped to almost 100%?

yea thank you for bringing that up. casters are getting 100 percent hit rate on this shit while tanks and scouts are getting crap hit rate. shits fucked up.

I have one word for you all: DoTs

ACT registers each tick of a DoT as a separate hit, so a single spell can get you 10+ hits, whereas a resist will only get you one miss. It's very misleading.

You're dumb. Spell Casters barely ever get resists on orange epic mobs because of the way the system works and has worked since LU13. How to get less resists on a mob as a caster? Get it's resists debuffed as far as you can, and then BAM you have no problem landing spells on it. Want to land attacks the same amount as a caster if you're a scout/fighter? Guess what, too fucking bad. No amount of debuffs will pull you there.

My point is that the mage's hit rate is nowhere near as high as ACT is telling you it is.

Think about it, I'm sure you'll see that I'm right.

It is the nature of where a persons dps comes from. I bet most of your melee has hit rates with their ca's that is comparable to mages spells. Auto attack just pisses all over you :p

Thus the problem with a class (rangers) who do the majority of their DPS from auto atk. Assassins and pretty much any other dps scout class can make up for this hit rate with their CAs. Rangers cannot. Just one of the many problems atm with the ranger class.
