Is CA dmg affected by base weapon dmg?

Just a quick question as I don't have the ability or time atm to test it myself.

Does weapon dmg affect CA dmg? The main thing I am wondering is if I were to equip a 2her and use a CA will it do more dmg then if I equiped a 1her of comparable lvl and did the same CA? Or are CAs static dmg regardless of the base dmg of a weapon?
