I also noticed that if I turn on auto attack and use my CAs it damages and debuffs the mob which makes encounters easier than they should be. That really needs to be nerfed.

I'm sure no guilds are pathetic enough to need to hook arrow any mob to beat it, but I think it is quite obvious that it's unintentional when you consider they changed drag to not work on stationary objects.

I didn't realize mobs where objects. I'm pretty sure the drag change was for things like statues in TnT

Bare with me as I can't recall all the mobs names atm. But on the guy in the forge room moving him away from the big pond of lava would make him much simpler. For Mylinx (sp?) moving him away from the generators so you don't have to worry about wing beat tossing anyone would make him much simpler. And I'm pretty sure if you moved that Skygazer guy before Silverwing away from his two little floating static orbs he'd be beyond simple to kill.

PS - I just learned about this a couple days ago when it was mentioned in the ranger forums (by a wizard claiming it was the rangers uber utility). Personally I see it as a straight oversight just like the original ranger trap rooting epic's. That didn't last long and I don't see this being around much longer either.

I'd love it if someone moved leviathan, becuase I fail to see how that would help at all on a mob that's a mega joke

Using it to move a mob is not an exploit, Its what the spell is designed to do and its does what it says. Using it to move an inanimate object is and exploit. The fix is to make it not work on epics i would guess.

I highly doubt they would change it to not work on epics, or else they would have done the same thing to drag a long time ago. It should not work on inanimate objects, just like drag. After all, it is pretty much the same thing as drag, which most guilds with bruisers abused all EoF long. Flame anyone?

Seriously all the mobs that are mentioned here are easily killed without it. People seriously need to stop screaming exploit on stupid shit.
Calling this an exploit is nothing more the one of two things, 1) rangers being bitches about not wanting to change thier AA spec and lose a little dps, or 2) people being bitches screaming for a nerf to something that needs not be nerfed simply because they don't do it like that. Anyone comparing this to the nerf to Drag, should first determine why Drag was nerfed before making such comparisons.
Hell, if memory serves, a monk using Peel on Taskmaster bypasses much of his script by allowing melee to move in without fear of reposte. Is this an exploit too? Hell, while we're at it, let's rehash the fact that you don't even have to follow the script in order to kill Leviathan. Until SOE comes out and says this is an exploit, as far as I'm concerned it is not. Using a classes unique ability to beat a mob is, as SOE would put it, "Working as intended." Some guilds may use this strat, I don't know. Is it necessary to kill the mobs? Not at all. We all know a real exploit when we see it. Invite to group 5 anyone? Next thing you know, people will be screaming that using Dispatched is an exploit because it makes mobs die so much faster.
