Vorador - Named Eye in KC - no loot - Page 2

Ventured into KC for a little while over the weekend. Killed him the first time and got a Master chest. Went and killed Xalgoz. Came back, dropped Legendary Bracelet with spell stun proc. Immediately spawned again, dropped the same bracelet.

Luckily, we had 2 mages in the group.

Maybe they fixed him, or maybe I am just lucky as hell.

I was farming this zone daily for a while. He was dropping loot, then 2 days in a row he wasn't. I haven't been back since. I lost interest when I spent 4 hours to spawn 2 nameds and one didn't drop a chest. lol

some named dont always drop chest like in that EoF instance thing, forgot the name. Boss of the instance drop class boots, at the end you got 2 named (eye and a nightblood) and most of the time they drop nothing, not even a woody. Maybe in this case its bugged but if you kill a named, it doesnt always drop something.

Vorador is about 50/50 loot/no loot. So yes he does have a loot table and yes his 3 placeholders do share it but its a bit rarer. I wanna say 1/5-1/10 PHs dropped his loot table for me(maybe this is why he doesnt drop it all the time?) If you were given 1 named which always dropped loot but the ph didnt wouldnt that be equivilant to about 3x with 50/50 for name or 1/5-1/10 for placeholders?

I guess you couldnt know unless you had exact drop rates, but I think it may be intentional although it is annoying to get no chest off a named. Especially since theyre lame little fuggers with there mez and power drains.

Last time I was doing those particular named I got a metal off the ph which had both a master and a legendary as well. But these guys just arent worth the time.

Those are designed that way to be a progression to the class boots. You know when you go into the room that someone (back when EoF was the latest expanion) is going to get their class boots and it being most likely an upgrade. Not to mention Signet of Light from darkness. A wandering name in a Contested zone is non-comparable to a scripted instance. Those mobs are necessary in order to complete the instance, and are more or lest a portion of the "boss" fight.

I can confirm through a lot of kills this guy drops nothing. However, I can also confirm the normal mobs and maybe even the placeholder drop Ornate randomly. The shield has dropped several times off the water trash, which I believe used to be the named loot table.
