Ok, excluding any type of special set-up a mob would require and just gearing for optimum DPS build while still having survivability what are your predictions on how the groups will look in raids now that raid epics are being disco'd? We now have raid wide CoB and PoTM, and the Illu epic will allow them to use their pet and seems to buff a scout group more. So for those that have seen the raid epics and take them into consideration what will be optimum set-ups?

groups = same as before in an optimum raid. everyone will just be more uber now imo

The days of an illusionist in a predominately mage group are probably completely dead. Sure, most people are running mixed group these days, but the balance of those mixed groups may be pushed a little more towards the melee.

Wizard/Warlock, Ily, Troub, Inquis? mystic?, assassin, brig?

Illus+pally+warlock+templar+defiler+dirge FTW was ubbah before and now it just got so much more awesome.

The days of 3 dirge 1 troubadour has been numbered since RoK was released. 2 Dirges 2 Troubadors is now the ideal setup. Toss an Illusionist in each of the Troubador groups, an Inq/Fury/Mystic depending on what scout, then toss in a Sorc/Summoner or 2, and if you have an Inq/Mystic toss in a Predator/Rogue or 2, but if you have a Fury, stick with a Rogue/Assassin.

thank god you dont setup my groups, id probably have to stab you in the face. I see verey little changes with most group setups, as far us the illy pet goes, without a proper mage group its pretty much shit anyways.

Well it killed off the coercer class.

There simply isnt a place in the mt grp and where the hell else would you take a coercer over an illusionist?

I guess its ok tho. Most betrayed or quit anyway

Dunno guard+temp+defiler+warden+coercer+dirge still working good for MT ( probably not common setup and most of the ppl would kick the coercer for assa\swash but seems to be working)
