hows this fight work exactly is it x amount of hits on the lock or is it at a certain % he breaks it or is it x amount of hits under a certain percent?

At around 20%-25% he gets pissed off enough to be able to break the gate open. other than that he will only scratch it.

ok if thats the case is it a viable strat to tank him in a corner then pull him to the grate at 20% and have him bust thru it after a couple whacks?

Then when he hits it, open the grate have him memwipe to your reqcruit Illus and make him suicide jump down it to make pawbuster follow down... that's how we do it... was a great laugh.

New update. In the past we have killed him 2 ways, using the grate and outright burning his ass. We heard a rumor that he drops more items when you straight out burn him, and after looking at loot logs this seemed to be true. So last night we decided not to pull the lever at all. When PB got to 1% health which happened 2x a script came up that said PB can't be killed while enraged and Immediately healed to 8%. Looks like SOE made it so you have to pull the lever to kill him.

This change has been in for a while now - you must dump him in the pit.

We use to kill him on the old way of burning him and we usually got 1 item (usually crappy boots only brawlers can use), but yesterday we took him on the script way with the lever thingy and he dropped 3 fabled items and 1 master
