Default Base damage cap?

I can't get a solid answer and would just like to know. With all these mythicals adding 10% here and there, stacking with all existing items. Is there a base spell dmg cap at 50% like most other caps in this game? Ie. Wizard mythical + troub mythical + bloodthirsty + freehand = 52% base dmg raise. So say on top of this dark orb of the mind procs - does it increase or did ya cap your dmg at that moment.

50% is definitely not the cap. I am at 55%, VM(25%), Choker(10%), orb(10%), Troub(10%), and have no problems with it increasing me by 55%.

Your best bet is to get Choker, Orb, Troub, Yourself, and then cast Freehand and watch what happens with item procs whether they get the full 62% or not.

The cap is definitely not 50% (I've been able to get up to 73%). If there is a cap it is at 100%.

PS, best way to test, Wizard Epic, Troub Epic, Choker, Orb, TNT Proc, Freehand. 82% or so.

Fuck I forgot TNT proc!

Also fyi, Wiz epic gives 17% base damage right now. Devs know, have found the source, and it should be fixed soon.

Yea, I accounted for that. I had a thought that the damage from a spell might be capped at 100% increase over base from capped int, however that is not the case. The base damage + spell damage still adds up over that.
