If I were trying to improve my guilds DPS, I would make a very detailed post about how to get ACT and set it up. That way no one has any excuses about using it. Then encourage people to use it personally, even when grouping, just to get a feel for where their DPS is.
This is where EQ2.ca comes in to play. Yes post your parses online so that you have a record to look back on to judge if your DPS has improved or not improved. The same for heals or Raid DPS. Raid progression? Sure it can solve that problem too.

I've been a part of several causal raiding alliances/guilds etc. Group builds and people not knowing how to play their classes are the huge problems. Reality is, you aren't going to be casual and progress into VP anytime soon in my opinion. It's a sacrifice you have to make in order to be casual.

I define this by putting the wrong buffs on the wrong people, running group buffs when they should dump those for individual buffs, not giving 100% effort on mobs, etc. But like I said, if you're a casual player like me you have to manage your expectations of what you're going to get, although I would have to think there are a lot of us casuals who wish we could do better, we just need to find each other, problem is we're casual because of our RL schedules/interests and many times that means we're all incompatible on some level.

Our guild is usually parsing 50-60k, avg. is around 50-55k ZW for zones you can actually full burn on.

The problem with casual raid alliances is that the people that don't give a shit or know nothing can easily ruin a raid where the majority of people are busting their asses.
