well the Sta doesent work that way anymore for sure. They fixed it so all Fighter classes get the some HP per sta. That im kinda much sure of. And as i said. not sure about how the rest of the stats work today... since SoE change stuff all the time with out telling us

Thats the trick, YOu only have 198 INt... and this is RoK era That much INT we saw in Old World/DoF... A big part of SK's Balance Breakdown was the KoS armor Revamp that they did.. Though Yeah I was thrilled they did it at the start But now realize it turned into this..

Origninally By game design they where creating Full Sets in regards to all Stats STR/STA/AGI/INT/WIS This forced the other classes to Raise in parrell the other stats they did not nead.. Bringing a balance in line.. KoS introduced a focus on 3 stat armor as a normal direction to the game.. Though Sk's are a four stat class. Even a basic Gear setup through mastercrafted items showed that the fighters now could focus solely on STR/STA/AGI ... in the Meantime SK's had to kill one stat for the another stat to properly tank. with MC armor its turns to this:

Guard Berserker:

445-str
480-sta
445-agi

SK:

Either:

445-str
445-sta
210-int
210-agi (useing melee jewelry for higher str.. incardine does not have agi)

or

175-str
445-sta
490-int
0-agi (useing caster jewlry)


THough thats Just MC crafted.. You track it down on Dropable Armor, Its Variences Between AGI and INT... its SImple the more AGI i have the less INT im going to have. Its by gear design...

But if we are not going to fix this, and be a fool and just raise SK's DPS altogether blindly .. then Fine, I'm A DPS setup SK, I'm not a tank.. Ill Finally Have My Gap Between me and the assasins Taken away as well as the necro and conj and ill gladly take the top parse spot =D.. Ill take it for all it worth.. Though Here For some reasoning i see that its againts the core game mechanics for that...

You should have alot more stats than that or your gear suck balls. And who fucking cares about MC armor? do you raid in that? i hope not... Im talking about raid drops with int on. And there are ALOT of it. Then we have group buffs with int on. Furys will give a singel target one with int on... so as i said the stats is only lame to point out. And doesent SK:s have int buffs?

SK offensive stance buffs int...another reason why going defensive kills DPS.

And Ower this is true past the MC, actually it becomes even worse with the fabled drops, until we get to our class armor.

That is a great post a sk made showing how messed up armor progression is for SK's. Add in the fact that armor only has melee crits and no spell crits (yes I know SK's self buff to 70% spell crit easily, but we should be able to hit 100% being in defensive armor np than if it was itemized correctly), meaning that instead of +melee crit or +spell crit it should just be a simple +crit. The same is true for spell damage and combat art damage.

Itemization is messed up and RoK content is messed up. So unless they are going to completely rework those 2 areas than they need to seriously toss a bone to SK's.

You have spell crit in your AA line... Alot aswell. And dont only look at armor. there are loads of charm items jewelery cloaks. As i said i dont see stats as a problem at all.

Than you are blind. Yes there is jewelry and charms...BUT it becomes a choice than for SK's, stats for DPS or stats for tanking...not both. No items are designed for both with Crusaders in mind atm. This is the prime example why it is easier for Warriors to concentrate on Survivability while maintaining the same DPS...stats cap for them much easier, same with +CA damage, +DA, and they will get a large number of +melee crit.

sk from release until DOF have broken skill lines, worst group tank(rare few that actualy did a great job regardless ) Solo about 12 place back then in the solo realm and are not Wanted or needed for raid's

Sk's in Dof , finaly get some repairs, and then a few months in they Nerf Sk's and give them Tuant over time, SK"s have Horrible agro issue's all thru out DOF . are not wanted or needed for raids

Sk's in Kos same as DOF ,, until about 3/4 of the way thru expansion then they get some minor tweaks and Deathmarch Re-vamped and Sk's finaly have a serious Agro tool, Nice Dps , and can group tank well, not needed for raids but they are doing decent dps ,bring a nice dps boost, and can snap agro so make a good OT (but its very few and far between now Years into the game how many raid guilds have a Raiding Shadowknight )

EOF people had a chance to group with Sk's now thru thge end of KOS, leveling is 1000Times faster then release , many have made Sk alts seeing sk's tear thru the Weak crap in KOS , some more Sk's see there way into Raids and raiding guild's. they still make a good OT , death march is starting to wear thin tho as people are caping out, doing more dps then deathmarch grabs agro for, etc,,, Sk's still arent needed in raids but you could make use one a well played one and be successful

ROK Sk's are at the back of the bus. Deathmarch is unrealiable, dps from Deathmarch isnt that great Vs the ton of other dps increases most are already capped for intell, etc,, our survivability was always behind all the other plate tanks in raids, but in rok it is very obvious , and our Dps has fallen behind and isn't enough to warrant an sk in a raid over any other class , so basicly we are back were we were at release, underpowered,worst agro of the tanks, lowest survivability, and sub-par dps , we solo OK in rok about 15th place , we arent the best group tank(tied for 3rd place IMO) and we aren;t equal at OT'ing and we certainly arent in contention for the MT spot ( we can do it but in rok it is more difficult then it has been in any previuos tier except when Sk's had fully broken skills back at release (even then Sk's MT'd every raid mob in the game )

so recap

Sk release till DOf = 4th for group tank, 12th to 15th in the solo department, not wanted or needed for raids

DOF to KOS = Worst agro of the tanks, about 12th to 15th in the solo department , not wanted or needed for raids

KOS to EOF = 3/4 quarters way thru, Good group tank, about 8 to 10th in the solo department, not needed for raids , but could get a spot now with DM for mage group or OT,

EOF to ROK with class sets and better loot in instances more sk's could gear up and get into raids, more people were playing Sk's actively , but Deathmarch was starting to wear thin by the end of eof, and others could OT just as well, Sk's were about 8 to 10 in the solo depeartment and one of the best group tanks

ROK< Sk 4th place for group tank, 12 to 15th in the solo department , not needed or wanted for raids, can Still OT but is much more unreliable then using a Paladin or a Zerker, can do good dps but deathmarch and decent dps dont justify a raid spot , not needed or wanted for raids

so thats

Release = not needed for raids
DOF = not needed for raids
KOS = not needed for raids (but could be OT by the 3/4 mark)
EOf = not needed for raids (could OT but by the 3/4 mark DM < Pally/Zerker OT)
ROK = not needed for raids (any plat tank can MT or OT better and Easier )

so tell me Again how SK"S are whiners and want it ALL ? tell me ONE POINT IN EQ2 where SK"s were Overpowered ? (and im not talking about 1 skilled player Solong an X-2 Name in SOS that is Over conned (gratz btw to that sk /helm off to you bro) im talking about Over powered in SoLoing, overpowered in Grouping or Overpowered in Raiding, Never happaned so STFU. (only thing we had that Sk's loved in our Aa's was Reaver endline and that got Nerfed, funny huh ? ) (and our Mit syphon just got Nerfed . Funny Huh ? a class that everyone says has Low survivabilty in rok gets the mit buff nerfed? add to they removed one of our stamina Buffs ? so FUCK Off in the Nerf department as well , nerfed our cast when moving (becuase of PVP) , nerfed our aviodance to not be castable on our squire,nerfed our damage shield to not be castable on our PET ,Nefed our Tuants to Tuant over time, Etc,, etc,, etc,,, shall we continue with the SK Nerf's ? to a class that Never ever has been overpowered , HAs struggled to stay afloat and continue to Prove the SK Class is Capable of great things in the face of all the crap thats been piled on us . and yet still see's Nerf after Nerf after NErf ?

Sk's have seen More Nerf's then make Sense . Sk's have Tuant over time, have Spells that get interupted, have the lowest BASE Hp's, need 4 stats instead of 3, have 1 AE TUANT ,, 1 ,,, have alot of DOTS and dots dont snap agro, and dont help on Fast fights, and ae dots don't do much on single targets for Dps or Agro . so Fuck off with your " SK"S Want it ALL < Point of FACT if Sk's had equal Survivability wiwth a Guardian we would STILL Be a more difficult tank to use as a MT just becuase the way are class Functions, and you know WHAT ? we dont even Want equal survivability , but we do want to be in the same FUCKIN ball park ,so we have a Chance to Compete for MT or OT Spots "
4 Years into the Fucking game and SK's still fuckin underpowered,still getting nerf's and still getting told to STFU and deal with it

P.s.
Guard at release = #1 MT for group and raids, overpowered and Far and away the best Hands down Tank in the game
Guard in DOF = few rough months at first (like OMFG cry me a river) but still #1 tank for raids and when they got fixes #1 tank for Groups
KOS = guards still #1 group tank but when people got geared, any Tank could be a great group tank , guard still #1 raid Tank /Zerkers a close second (and some guards were Soloing Even con Heriocs maybe higher )
EOF = Guards equal in group tanking , #1 raid tank /zerkers a close second
ROK Guardians back were they were at release Far and away the hands down Best #1 raid MT , and 1st or 2nd group MT


tellin me our solo ability and group tanking is the reason Sk's suck for raids /Fuck off , sk's arent great soloers only in KOS and Eof did they solo pretty well but not even in the top 5 solo class , our group tanking Same deal Kos and Eof we were Equal and sometimes better (If well geared mastered then other tanks) as other tanks, but we have Never been needed for raids Ever , we have Never had equal abilities in raids, we have always been harder to use in raids (except for DM when it actualy worked end of Kos to end of EOF)

im sick of listening to your Whinney ass bithcing about guards, you always have been the best Raid MT, and Best group MT (save end Kos thru till end of Eof) and Some Gaurdians can Solo pretty OK. white heriocs that i know Guards could solo at the least in KOS , but i dont follow along with Guardians solo Accomplishments to know what some of the Best Soloing guardians have Pulled off .


Sk's are only looking for Minor adjustments/improvements to keep them in competiition to there rivals, we certainly dont want to be Equal with a Guardian, they can have there cake and eat it to(have since release and for 4 years, they did ge a belly ache for a few months with DOFcombat Revamp /chuckle) we didnt ask for NEW skills, we didnt ask for survivabilty/agro/dps to be greater then ALL other tanks, we simply asked for Improvements to what we already have to even us out

For the first. Did anyone say here that SK:s are OP? Where in hell did you get that shit from?? And are guard crying over how guards work?? No. Look back in EQ1 who was the Main tank back then? and the best raid tank and so on? Warriors. Always been like that. And dont give me any bullshit about that Guards was OP from the start... at some fucking point there was more gaining to use a fucking pet to tank with... All tanks sucked balls till they fixed it. The problem with all this shit is that we have TO many classes. to many fighters. All cant be kind on raids.

And as we all agree on SK:s need something but that you are ignoring when we say it. You dont need DW. Boost the 2handers and fix your AA:s some. I still dont agree on the stats. And ffs chill down... And is it us that are nerfing SK:s?

And i dont agree with you that Guards are the best grouping tanks out there. I dont say that guard sucks as group tanks but how in hell do you place them #1 as group tank? You dont need block or ToS for grouping. you dont need to have a crazy fucking avoidance for grouping... Shit even a fucking scout can tank all the heroic shit in RoK.
