I play a monk, and until we got our raidwide buff there was minimal value to a raid, even though our dps was acceptable. I also play a guardian, who I betrayed from berserker due to being inferior to guardians (and paladins!).

I think SK's need a little bump in all areas tbh. Right now all they really offer to a raid that stands out is death march imo.
The problem is SOE has gradually made the only real viable tanks in rok guard or zerk. Hell didn't aerylik even say crusaders weren't meant to be MT's?
While I don't think SK's should ever be on par tanking wise compared to guards, they at least should be a viable option if no guard is present ( in both group and raids ) ATM if a raid force lacks a guard or zerk they are more or less fucked, and that should never be the case imo.
Though it is hard to balance out 24 classes imo, even when eq2 launched I was shocked at the number of classes they had.
