Charm on VS

Is there a way to avoid his random charm? It always seems to happen later in the fight and forces that player to use all their power and that causes the add to appear and the rest is history. Do most guilds just have someone ready with a cure the whole fight just for this or does it not always happen? This is the only thing that seems to prevent us from killing him. We have the power management and cures down pretty well. Or does this only happen on a timer and your dps must be better to prevent it?

If you drop below 20% power, you are charmed and an add spawns, and you wipe. Don't get that low, and if you have mana sacrifice on you, don't use your abilities!

I don't think you have your power management down pretty well if you have folks getting charmed.

He charms you at the same time when he spawns a X4 add if you go below 27? % power so it's the wipe already because you noobed and got low on power. Probably you have a problem with his powerain that he keeps constantly on 2 random ppl in a raid. Just don't cast anything when you have this effect on you ( you start gloving with blue aura) and use your power returning stuff and you'll be ok. Anyway there is already another thread for this mob so you better go read it.

20%. He doesn't keep it constantly on 2 people, provided you keep TS and Sonic Interference on him.

So the Charm is part of going too low on the power, that means the folks getting hit with it are not paying attention, thank you for your responses. These folks claimed their power was just fine and poof they were charmed and forced to use their power.

Ya we actually made everyone sign off on our guild forums that they read and understood it. Obviously they didn't.

Hehe, nice try ... nah they went to low on power and got charmed! You should be able to see it in your chat window, it will be likely in red text (if you use default text colors) stating that so and so has open a portal due to lack of will or somthing like that!

If pople miss that mana sacrifice is on them it goes darn fast that they are drained, especially if you play with a large pwr marging on this fight! I try and keep my self around 50% to play it safe.

DON'T USE YOUR ABILITIES MEANS ..... DON't USE YOUR ABILITIES.

It never fails to amaze me that people don't understand that concept and waste a night in there.

You should have someone babysit the raid and watch the power of folks and call it if they need to have power or lose power.
