Yes, I am in a solid guild raiding T1/T2 RoK. I have been MT in this guild for about 4 months now and the only 2 Guardian Masters peeps in guild have looted doing instances were given to me.

Fly your way to the end of the game, say "I win" and buy a new game.

Was it really that hard to say?

Your philoposhy is give me the gear and I will beat your content so that I don't have to play anymore.

Whereas people who actually like playing the game's philosophy is let me play your content reward me for playing your content so that maybe I can beat the next level.

It was a fun game from start to finish that didn't come anywhere near ending just because I had "end-game itemization" early on. Every single one of us goes through the same type of attention span here, except rather than get bored and buy a new game, we get bored and buy the new expansion.

The reward always used to be to see it all and save the day. Here there's a calculated ulterior motive for every zone a person does, and that isn't an aspect worth saving because it stinks like shit to high heaven.

Nobody has the slightest clue what this means anymore...I remember clearing SotL (12 named btw) and being happy with 3 master chests. This is waaaay before the days of ornate chests or even legendary armor. If you were lucky you'd walk away with 3 fabled pieces of gear and maybe 2 masters and probably 15 rares (which would be, in turn, your uber 'legendary' MC gear.)

With that said, you're unlucky...but get over it.

I found a solution. I have the station pass and play vanguard when I'm not raiding. I'm tired of pointless heroic content.

(And I was very supportive of the drop rate until I realized it was just sucking the fun out of the game. Brigand master drop rates are just stupid.)

Really I'd have absolutley no probem with master drop rates as they are now if AD3's were even relativley close to viable upgrades

If there are no relevant masters for your class on the broker, the drop rates are too low, easy as that. There has to be a certain surplus, and that surplus shows on the broker. However, I really like the status point upgrade idea, or the idea of having the system provide all masters on the broker at a very high cost. After all, what is all the plat good for in the end if you cannot buy anything worthwhile? Only raiders really need masters - fine. But there is no point to progress for non-raiders, since their ad3s can all be bought and gotten in a single day. Where to go from there? WIth that drop rate, its pointless.

Did you ever stop to think that there's not a surplus because anything that's put on at a reasonable price gets bought?

Since then I have been raiding T1/T2 in RoK and doing probably 10-12 instances a week. I do not think I am overestimating that I have probably run 420-450 instances.

Out of all of those instances I have seen a total of 0 fucking masters drop for my class, Guardian. I have had 2 given to me by guild members, I bought one that was reasonably priced at 25p and I traded for 1 for another Master.

So, after about 450 instances and almost 6 months into the expansion, I have 4 Masters. That is total bullshit imo, but I realize my opinion doesn't mean shit to the dipshits at SoE.....
If you did 420-450 instances and didnt come out personally with 2 dozen masters. Then you must be playing a different game. There is no fucking way that is possible. Fact remains you sold those masters and refused to pay for your masters. Sucks to be you. Next time spend on your masters, because bottom line is plat is a joke to get in this expansion.

Gungo, one problem with your arguement. I've got a fair amount of plat, not thousands or anything, but enough. I check the broker every day, and for the last week there have only been two even remotely worthwhile masters on the broker on Butcherblock, both were Exothermicity and one was up for 500 plat and the other for 200 plat. Tells/mails with reasonable offers went unanswered and that was that. There are at least 10 wizards in 70's chat that spam on a daily basis looking for wizard masters. The point is, sometimes you can't buy the masters you want even if you have all the plat in the world.
