Devs have already stated that it will remain the same recast and PvP cures will be reduced to two second recast...

I always thought it would have made more sense if mages cured based on their class.

Necromancers and Warlocks cure Magic & Noxious
Coercers and Illusionists cure Magic & Mental
Wizards and Conjurors cure Magic & Elemental

That would add some more flavor and allow them to handle a few solo situations without needing potion cures. But the negative side is you would prolly have raid leaders add more burden to them by asking them cure in different situations, and they would complain it brings town their DPS...who knows...I don't raid anymore so that area is hazy for me.

The day I see mages cure something off others will be the day SOE invests into EQ2 instead of ripping it off. I.e. never.

I'm just irritated that out of all the things that need fixing in this game, they are going to blow time monkeying with something that has complaints from a 1% of the community of priests who think their time is better spent DPSing than casting cures.


If you're too stupid to get it right, that doesn't make it broken.
