Can anyone else cofirm or deny this?

I'm fairly certain that (before today) if you double attack and the 1st hit is critical, the subsequent double attack will also be critical. This at least was the case every time I noticed it for myself.

Today was the first time I noticed that I was double attacking and the 1st hit was critical, but the doubleattack was sometimes NOT critical.

I was using a 2 hander to be sure, so as to not confuse this with off-hand swings.

Or was it always this was and I was just really lucky?

No, it's always been it's own chance to crit.

Wow, strange that I never noticed it before. Perhaps they adjusted the numbers then, because I'm seeing almost every double attack land as Non-Critical now, where as before everyone that followed a crit was critical.

Or perhaps maybe now that I'm paying more attention to it I'm noticing it more. Who knows. Anyways thanks for the info.

A miss can now have a succesfull double attack right? Or has it always been that way?

Ahh, i guess i just didnt notice it when the double attacks didnt have their own message.

Melee classes wouldn't have noticed it as easy. But as a ranger it was pretty easy to spot since I'm watching my auto attacks alot more closely then a melee would. Thing that stood out the most was how often I'd see a miss instantly followed by another miss. Also the easist way to show that you could get a DA off a miss.
