On a fully raid debuffed mob, it's become a rare occasion for me to hit the 100k mark with Manaburn (with an 11k+ power pool and 7 AA in FreeHand). However, I've noticed that our monk hits the 100k mark with Devastation Fist a few times each night.

BTW, Manaburn Immunity FTMFL.

I would think execute and fission are the highest hitting "normal" spells. I say normal because mana/life burn are AA spells and dev fist is % based

The reason for asking and the whole NON-debuffed mob, is I was trying to think of the best way to pull a mob like Master P, who to my knowledge immediately memwipes on the pull. And if he ignores the puller right away then it makes sense to me to drop a big shot on him right off the bat when you know his stoneskin isn't going to be up and you know that you won't have to panic to get aggro off someone.

What are other people doing to pull him...not sure if having a squishy pull him would make him "panic" about there being no fighters, but I've heard of others saying that they pull him that way. If that does cause a problem, I suppose pulling with dev fist would be a great way to start if it is % based.

Last time I fought master p wizzy pulled with manaburn and he immediately wiped and went to mt perfectly.

I guess I haven't read Manaburn in awhile, but thought you couldn't use it til the mob hated you.

You are correct Paperclip, "Must be hated by your current target." is one of the requirements to cast Manaburn.

If this is all about pulling Master P'Tasa you should probably change your initial question. As far as a wiz is concerned that rules out Manaburn because as stated you must be hated first, and probably Fission since it's range is somewhat small and it would probably put you in aggro range to cast it. IMO, the biggest RANGED nuke I have that I could pull Master P'Tasa with is probably Wrath of the Burning Prince+Ball of Magma. Wrath of the Burning Prince is the first miracle in the Sol Ro diety line and with BoM I consistently get 40k hits on NON-debuffed mobs. It does have a couple downfalls though, even at M1 Ball of Magma seems to have more than it's fair share of resists, and Wrath has a 1hr recast.

when i was still playing i hit for over 150k multiple times in protectors realm on the heroic adds that come with the first 4 names, so you cant leave dev fist out tbh.
