Who posses the largest single shot damage spell. I'm talking before debuffing. Would it be (and forgive me for not getting the name of the most current version of the ability) decapitate, manaburn, devastation fist, death touch?

I know spells like Lifeburn can deal out alot of damage, but it is over the course of a few seconds, correct me if I'm wrong (does manaburn work the same way?)

Wrong, lifeburn ticks off damage, manaburn is one big hit that can be over 100k

Funny thing is I almost typed "Death Touch (lol)", but i thought that would just be an opening for a derailment. I merely mentioned it because it is a fairly commonly known "big hitter". It was more of an example than anything.

So would it just be a toss up between the Assassins big shot and the Wizards (again, you know which ones i'm talking about, but I don't recall their actual names at end game). Or could devastation fist be considered bigger on an epic than either of these two?

dev fist on an epic doesn't hit for squat compared to other 'big hitters'

Manaburn hits pretty fucking hard and doesn't work like Lifeburn (in that Manaburn is DD and lifeburn is DoT).

Wizzy non AA hardest hitting spell is Fission. I have gotten 40k+ crits with fission (can't remember highest hitting manaburn).
