Part of the fun is getting your own timers.

I don't understand people who treat those timers like they are fucking gold. I had people in my guild who got a full set of timers for everything, and they acted like they had some major scoop. Like we couldn't have progressed without these timers, but now ... whoa. The Sky's the limit.

Holy crap, it takes A pull to get the timers yourself, and in my experience, the timers I collect myself are more accurate than the ones in the big "list 'o timers".

Its just crazy. Seious question Aerofae and anyone else desiring timers (rant mode off), you do know how to get timers out of ACT, right? The only thing remotely difficult about it is figuring out what the AOEs are called.

The most annoying thing is AOE's with the same name (Wing Beat) but different timers.

You realize that in the post he says that those timers are for T5-T7 and that you should develop your own timers for T8.

I don't know if he has updated that file but I don't think that he did.

I am with Hoss though it doesn't even take an unsuccessful pull to figure them out just the ability to be survive though a couple of the AoEs and make a timer on the fly. I don't understand why everyone treats these things like they are the most amazing thing ever.

Probably because half the fun in this game is figuring out the encounter on your own?

I agree. Since I'm not in a leading guild, my opportunities to figure out stuff for myself are few and far between. But RE2 was fucking sweet the first night out, so was Shard of Hate.
