As a berserker I have ZERO sympathy for the topic of this thread.

We watched RoK play out from the bench even for group content. Guards are no where near the bench but, for the first time ever they're being challenged by great players in the tank line when it comes to raiding. And for PUG's and other BS they actually have to "think" about their aggro and use the proper strategies... aka "playing" their class. The majority of guards got lazy or never had to try while the rest of us were forced to master our tank classes to compete. Now some guards are being "outshined". So what?

Cowboy up and try harder. And thats too much for you to do, then roll a different alt or have a seat until the next Xpack.

bro wtf are you talking about?

ONLY MYTHICAL gaurds where OP in rok and the only reason so many zerks betrayed or rerolled is cos they wanted too.
i played with many zerks that fucking owned face thru out ROK.

raid guards still have a spot but guards that lost that DA that CAN't get it else where got screwd and for NO GOOOD REASON .. i mean do you even understand what made the gaurds so good in RoK besides the fact everything was single target?

1. 69% DA from AA with a tower shild
2. 8% uncontested riptose WITH a tower shild
3. stupid amounts of un-regularized + block

so in short the only reason guards where so *op* as everyone says IS BECAUSE OF THE MYTHICAL so

devs NERF the shit ot of the myth and THEN procced to NERF the fuck out of the STA line too for no fucking good reason....

The only other temp buff they have is divine aura, which does not work on the attacks that are greater than 50% your HP (which is autoattack on most TSO nameds)

They are no longer the masters of block, as changes to the warrior tree and the shadowkinght-shadows tree allow other classes to get just as high shield effectiveness as them. As for heals, they are all useless except for a 2k single target ward.

Paladin dps has much improved in TSO, and they remain the kings of aggro control, but it does come with a price.

I could do the thing same for zerkers.
paladins are tanking the same shit guards can and their myth offers 19% dmg reduction among other things, yes for once SK are the better crusader but not by much

btw isin't there an AA that takes the stifle/daze away from divine favor? also you mean a 20% HP heal last time i checked thre aren't many paladins with 7.5k HP and If there is that's why they die not because their class is unbalanced.

Learn to read I said I don't agree that guards should have the best single target aggro not that they do. Them not having a clear cut advantage in surviability might be true but most guards seem to expect both.

the class had strong points and limitations.

Pretty sure the Guard I was guilded with pulled full rooms almost all the time

Its like he doesnt get it, seriously. You see it with retarded children too, they just cant grasp thier minds around anything but that toy they are crying about.

Like, when are you going to understand that guards shouldnt be the best at EVERY ASPECT of tanking?

Seriously, cry less.
