As allot of people know: 100% melee/spell/ranged crit does not mean you will crit for 100% of the time on mobs that are above level 80.

I'm trying to get a friend of mine to understand that this does NOT apply for heal crit, and that getting it higher then 100% does not help. That a mobs level will not determine the actual heal crit amount of your heals.

Could I get a few people to post in reply and confirm this for me?

Confirmed but even with 100% heal crit, you can still get a non crit heal from time to time.

If thats true then it's rare. Or it may be since ACT counts procs as heals, even power procs, that those non-crits are causing this calculation error.(I'm pretty sure ACT does anyway)

non-crit heals with 100hc are either procs or things you cast while you had one of the over 9000 healcrit debuffs on you.

Wards will crit, but do not parse as a crit. So you'll notice shamans with 100+ heal crit will seem like they're barely critting at all when in reality they are. And yeah, most procs no longer crit though when the next update goes live none of them should.
