id go with over 9000 stacked hots that fill up the health in like 1-2 seconds.

dude... keeping a group up in heroic TSO content without highend raid gear really IS way harder than with any other priest class. the group ward either gets eaten by the tank or chokers in group, single ward does barely take more than 2 hits in TSO so youre really kinda busy trying to keep the single ward up while using the group heal whenever possible to make up for choker damage, there really isnt that much time to use the underwhelming direct single heals with a defilers abysmal casting times

if they are boxed I highly doubt the boxed toons are wearing chokers, that is what we are talking about right? and I would cast my group ward over my st ward. maybe it is my gear I don't know, but I have no issues even boxing my defiler with my guard. or dare I say skill...

Outside of the Shaman's, all the other healers for the most part have to wait for the damage to occur before we can heal it. That takes timing and paying attention. If you are 4 boxing and can set the pace and control aggro, then pre ward with shaman and don't ever let the damage occur. You should be way more effective macro casting the second round of wards and not really having to pay attention to letting the damage occur so you can heal it.

I would maybe set the SK/Paly up in a way understanding that in prolonged fights they may have to help fill in the gaps of the healing. That being said, i'm not sure which shaman would be the best for what you are looking for as i've never played one.

this is all about perspective.. some are posting from the view point of a raid geared shamen and others the viewpoint of a t2 shamen.

i have played both and can tell you out right that a shamen is harder to solo heal with then a druid or cleric.

yes i can do it fine and i actually find it funner, that's why i like my defiler best but the very fact that someone posted such words as "skill" proves that shamen take more attention then other healers, unless they are very well equipped putting up 15k group wards.

Templar has best defensive buffs (stoneskin/ sheild ally) and requires less 'heal' button mashing imo.

QFE.

They also share reuse timers, and the single target ward/group ward, share the casting/reuse timers with the single target reactive and group reactive.

So stop being retarded.

hm.. did i miss something or do clerics get 17ish % castspeed bonus via AA while shamans dont? i think so, hence from lvl 20ish onward, clerics have an advantage when it comes to cast times. so MAYBE someone should keep it down with the smack talk if that someone happens to not know that.

I have a harder time solo healing on a mystic than a defiler, I must just suck.
