Raid parsing - Page 2

Why are people obsessed over numbers? Granted I'm about to get my first character to 50 in any MMO I've played. The only thing I've raided is DFC. I chose my character for the roleplaying rather than the abilities.

well most people are concerned about numbers if they are a dps class just to see how they compare or if they are on par with everyone or if they suck..
for this thread i was just wondering how my guilds dps compares to others to see if we are lower than normal higher avg or w/e..

A guild recently came over to LDL. One of their requirements to be recruited was they parsed DPS and Healing to make sure you were in the right range. Micromanagement like that is just blah.

Makes sense... you want the best possible DPS as a raid and an assassin parsing say 800 aint gonna cut it.

Ya parsing helps seperate the decent and shitty players for the most part, but it can be a hinderance if relied on too often.

I will tell you what though, when I see a parse with an assassin doing 1.4k and the next highest in the 800s...well you want to cry :smiley-tongue:

highest we have seen is 19k ish

faabio brigands help so much since we exile and have like all the classes

I personally don't think you are doing that much dps~

Overall I'd say you're lower than average, but it's not that bad. Faabio has a huge stick up his ass and likes to pretend that his guild is > your guild no matter who you are.

Hardly, I have no problem with Darkhand~

They have no reason to not be one of the best now that they are exile~

the thing is faabio we do parse that high... i wouldnt say that is our zone wide dps because we have people that afk during trash or dont try as hard because that stuff is easy... but when everyone is there that is what we average....

when we were qeynos only guild we had swash conj ranger for dps... now we got swash conj ranger assassin and brigs... so it makes a huge difference think you are jealous of our skillz. =)

my guess is we will be one of the top soon, being exile is a big difference Qeynos only has such a huge disadvantage.. we are working on it... but from what i heard we have killed names in less trys than most guilds..

Freeport are all scrub noobs.

You should make your rangers go assassin, they are far superior for raid dps!

And you should make everyone try hard, even on trash mobs, that's what defines what a good player is~
