Heard an interesting thing from a guildmate in Unrest, his group sucked and the tank was getting owned. Well he tells me they probably wouldn't have made it as far as they had gotten if the Necro hadn't been charming every undead mob in sight and blowing them up in succession.
Hold up here? Huh?
The only possible explanation I could think of is the
Summoner STR AA line Implode, which would theoretically allow you to charm and blow up two undead creatures every minute. I should explain that the way this spell works, is that you blow up your pet to inflict AOE damage and you have 100% casting speed increase on your Pet Summon spells for 10 seconds, which are normally a 10 second cast time, but this reduces them to 5 seconds and after that 10 second window has expired, the Implode effect will trigger a second time.
- First off, can it be done?
- If it can be done, then is it a bug (according to the spell description it should be) or is it working as intended (just mis-worded in the description)?
- Is it overpowered considering it allows you to kill two any con, any level heroic undead mobs per minute or does anyone give a crap because we Summoners (the good ones at least) could solo two of any con heroics in the same time frame using our normal methods?
I wish I could test it but alas I am not a Necro and I don't know any of them that actually have that AA to ask since they're all raid spec'd and killing your pet intentionally is grounds for dismissal for a raid Summoner.
Thanks in advance for the feedback.
