    Default Tips for returning player

Since paladin class section looks more dead than alive, try to find out in this section. I havent played since 2010. Then I was a hardcore raider. Returned to the game a week ago and immediately surprised by the large number of different stats on gear. But I was more interested in what is now better for tanking? Block or mitigation? Since mobs have strikethrough. Would also like to hear about adornments for tanking. For example, all white slots should be on stamina or hp + block?

    Play a different game.

Mostly Mitigation, but block is still important. HP is significant as well

It's pretty straight forward to be honest. For the Cryptic, Arcane and Potent tiers you do have a choice between Mit or Block on your armor, truth is you want both. The difference between rolling with 3 Mit pieces and 4 Block pieces or 4 Mit pieces and 3 block pieces, etc is not worth the time to factor out. The raid tiers there's only one option per slot for the tank gear. Purple adorns are easy, mit on chest, block on shoulders, AE on wrist and legs no real overlap here. White adorns aren't quite as intuitive, crit chance should be your number 1 concern after than I'd put Stam adorns on everything you can, riposte on neck, casting speed so you can reforge out of it for dps mod, dps mod, block adorns if you wanna be a try hard. Just take it slot by slot and decide what's best. Reforging is your friend.

Trade block for mit wherever you can, mit is way more important than block this expansion.

Yeah mit over block is kind of crappy advise. If you're running a decent tank set you'll have plenty of mit and you shouldn't be getting hit for more than a mil or so. However if your block is shit you're a lot more likely to catch a 2mil+ multi attack without a temp up.
