Re: Conjurations
I want game challenge to increase.
The typical timesink has nothing to do with skill. This will, if implemented as it has been in the past, be a click, wait 12 seconds, click, wait 8 seconds, click, wait 6 seconds, click, wait 9 seconds, click, wait 10 seconds, click wait 5 seconds..
Claymore is an example of a well done timesink (IMO). Your always doing something, and it requires skill, either on your part or your groupmates, if your a total tard.
Games in general are timesinks. So is masturbation. I do a lot of both, when its enjoyable. Timesink itself is neither negative or positive. However, a timesink in a game, just for the sake of making you wait, especially in a case where its going to repeated constantly over the life of your game, is a bad thing. This isn't a quest where the NPC makes you wait 45 minutes before you get the final item, this is something your going to be doing over and over and over and over and over.
Anyway. Go work towards your 3,000 post, I'm going to go look up Naomi Watts in an uncensored Google Images search.
To Set:
Seeing as we summoned the armor to begin with, it doesn't have to poof when the pet goes back to it's home plane. (dies) It could fall to the ground (in EQ2's case, we get a message saying we picked it up) and maybe we could click it in our inventory to requip on the new pet.
Being able to wear summoned armor (hopefully looking nice. At the very least, looking 'summoned') in the appearance tab where looks are the only thing that matters would own.
