Hydromancer does damage?

So ya, I was fucking with the free AA resets on my brothers account on his raid conj and toyed with the healer pet.

I shot the animated dagger spell at a guard to test it out and had the healer pet on to heal me to test it out on how it reacted.

Then it took aggro from healing after a short time so I said w/e and went to check something on the broker.

Long story short I come back and the guard was at 54% health?! So I checked the combat log and apprently every time the healer pet reposites it deals the reposite in cold damage.

Umm... *laughs a little* ...yeah, a riposte in this game is basically a counterstrike. The enemy swung and your pet reposted and made the enemy hit itself resulting in damage.

To make it more simple It's best explained as:

Riposte = counterstrike, resulting in damage to attacker
Parry = nullifying an attack, resulting in no damage to defender
Deflection= forcing an attack to miss, resulting in no damage to defender

Hope that helped you understand why your pet was doing damage. Other than that your pet will not do any type of damage.

hyrdomancer is a great AA spec i recomend it for all high-end raiders if you wanna be at the bottom of the parse <3

Only purpose I can think to hydromancer is when you 2box a tank and have the conjurer be a bot.. not sure how that would work, does it heal enough?

My guard isn't high enough but I still tank with conjuror with ward procs, just have guardian taunt every once in a while to bounce the mob around.

When I solo I use the ultimate setup...

My Conjuror, Mage Pet and Paladin Pet. Tank, Heal and DPS all in one nice package!

I know what a reposite is, i just found it interesting that it even could reposite or parry and thought I'd share that it's pretty interesting/cool that it reposites in cold damage. Take a moment to rethink your life and ask yourself why you have to go into detail about things without someone asking you to.

Did I not say that I was fuckin around on my brother's toon? Do you really think I consider it to be a real suggest when you actually read the context in which I found this out. Stop being so angry, it makes you look like a jackass.

By the way Oakmiser... If you truly know what a reposite is as you so eloquently put. Would you mind telling us, and write it in a dictionary while your at it.
