Re: AA Setup (Conjuror tree)
Putting points in frigid winds sorta seems to be the opposite of why you would want the spell, tbh.

Take all the points from seed AA and put em into DS.
Take 4 points from shared stoneskin and the points from veahament gem and put them towards maxing of intervention ...and either get increase pet summoning haste or mage pet> pyro summoning haste.

Re: AA Setup (Conjuror tree)
To me, that DS is still a pos, there's no reason to putting points in it and definately isn't one of our strengths.
The reason for the shared stoneskin is simple... This is the only thing that I can apply to my pet when it's out of range or no matter where it is.. And it can be rotated in w/the others.
Concerning Frigid Winds: if left ticking, it is the highest damaging spell for the amount of time casted over any other spell. Of course, I often just cast it agin to get another proc when it refreshes, but that also means it procs the most times possible until it refreshes.
And above all, my ACT bible says it is so...

You are putting points into seed line and that gives you no improvement at all.The proc is 20 pct based so it is always up.
So instead of improveing your ds to over 100 you rather improve trigger chance of a dot that is always up.............i dont get it.

really only need 1 trigger to block a ae ......so see more then 1 rank of it as a waste.

Re: AA Setup (Conjuror tree)
/agree with bigron
I put the 5 AA into seed and it's just not worth it. I think they'd be much more beneficial overall in the DS.
I also like points in Winds to increase damage on the ticks. Most of the time I've left that one up for the full duration.
I'm also not totally sold on the group stoneskin, tbh. I've got it atm, but haven't found much use for it.
In my next respec, I'm thinking of leaving off the points in effigy, since I'm more concerned with recasting it as soon as those 8s are up. Seems a waste to add a little bit to the dot end of it, which is small anyway.

Dont take the points from effigy........ you are getting full spell damage instead of half by time your able to recast it any way....so taking the points out is just losing DPS and with nothing else of equal value its deffinet a step down.
Effigy is roughly second best personal dps spell....... having it tick faster just makes it better.

The Proc is 20% based so only 20% of the swings will cause the proc... So let's say you had Aria as 20%, does it matter to YOU if it's 30%? Yes! It does! Infact I'd prefer it at 58% if possible. So instead of having one pos ds that applies to one person I'll use something that is nearly like having our "Char" (according to my ACT parses) apply to 3 people.
