False....wont get into game mechanics tho
perhaps someone else will explain.
So let's say you had Aria as 20%, does it matter to YOU if it's 30%? Yes! It does! Infact I'd prefer it at 58% if possible.
Arias is a DD not a dot.
So instead of having one pos ds that applies to one person I'll use something that is nearly like having our "Char" (according to my ACT parses) apply to 3 people.
Another thing here with game mechanics.....You do relize haveing seed on 3 people is just as efficent as haveing it on 1 person.....dont you?
Only real time where haveing it on multiple people is actually better is if have multiple people in same group but are on 2 different targets....say like one on a boss and one on adds.....a of corse that would be people that autoattack/Range....so would be rare case if in proper group setup
|
Anyway imo improveing the DS a good amount is better then improveing trigger chance on seed......and dont think many at all would disagree.

Re: AA Setup (Conjuror tree)
You'll have to give more detail because your description of Magma Seed and 'game mechanics' is false to me.
It seems like what you're saying is that once someone's proc'ed Seed and it's applied to the mob, that no one else can hit the mob with Seed and have their proc apply? Either over riding the previous dot or stacking to me doesn't make a difference in the argument.
The fact is it's just like recasting Effigy, it's just applied anew, by whoever and starts ticking until hit again with seed.
Just tested it in ACT as well and you can see even on a basic mob that the amount of swings (by magma seed) is way more then just every 4 seconds of the fight, sometimes double on a single mob.

Re: AA Setup (Conjuror tree)
As I have writen in another post, I have tested a bit AA setup without Bubble, and I will stick with this setup.
What I can say is that we have too many ways to keep our pet alive and FIGHTING (constant dps) than choose to stop attacking and use bubble. Petstoneskin + Selfstoneskin (enhanced) + Intervention + Animist Bond >>>> Bubble
My new AA setup:
And I have raid Venril, Leviathan, second and third floors in VP on this setup without a problem at all.

Re: AA Setup (Conjuror tree)
Does anyone have any solid info on Elemental unity? As far as parses and such? Seems like we put points into it and i just dont see it doing as much as it should.

At the moment I have 5 aa's in enhanced earth pet and have begun to work on the EOF Abatement tree.
Thank you in advance for any advice.

Soloing or grouping/duoing this conjy up to 80?
Do you have an AA mirror available for this toon?
Solo i would start with my Stam line to get the pet taunt at an early stage, don't worry about the Conjy AA's yet, you need to survive first so get your tank pet able to taunt the mobs off of you and then work on pet heals. So for solo its the Stam/Wis line your looking for.
If your gonna group/duo this thing, then work intel line to get the mage pet doing DPS and are able to deaggro the mage pet so you don't pull the aggro off the tank. Then go down the STR line for crits.
Once you got the basics down and you start working up in lvls 65+ the the Conjy AA stuff is gonna be important to you and you can again review this post for AA setups that will help you out.

Re: AA Setup (Conjuror tree)
Servers are down so I can't take a pic but I basically decided to scrap stoneskins because its not as useful in a raid.
Instead I took the plane shift modification for shits and giggles (5/5) and put 4 points into both dumbires as well as their prior pets everything else is basically the same

Re: AA Setup (Conjuror tree)
Feel free to discuss. I'm still playing around with it. I hate the scout pet so I wanted to maximize my fire pet as much as I could. I aimed for Unabate, Bubble, and Stoneskins and built my spec from there.
Here's my new raiding spec:
STR = 4,4,4,8 WIS=4,6,4,8,1, INT=7,4,4,8,1

The thing is effigy has a DD element to it before the dot which makes it worth casting. If it were just a dot, recasting it before it expired/is about to expire would be a waste of time.

My build is pretty much the same, but I moved points from Enhance Fire and the heal to Enhanced Master's Intervention and Enhanced Solidify. With Minion's Uproar 8 and Unabate, Enhance Fire almost seems redundant, but I dunno after the resist changes.
