Default Elemental Unity - Communion, Aqueous Sepents and Pyro

Does EU affect our communion pets? I have read differing opionions on this.

Does EU affect our water and fire dumbfire pets? Or just our primary pet?

No more differing opinions, EU only works on the main pet.

Communion pets don't receive any group buffs whatsoever either.

It would be if the Swarm pets lasted any great length of time in RoK raids and the Communion pets would actually hit something more than a couple times in VP

Somewhat related question. Right now, when I cast Elemental Unity (before a fight) I stick to my DPS spells, only sending in my dumbfires the moment my Elemental Unity wears off. Is this a good approach, or will my dps be higher if I cast my dumbfires when the mob gets pulled and then immediately after begin casting Unity?

for the best dps just take the dumbfires off the hotbar cast time is too long and they just get creamed when an epic even breathes on them. bm and eu on pull and use your damage spells and you'll hit alot higher numbers

From what I've read in other posts.. People open up on the pull with the Dumbfires cause of there long cast times then the usual casting orders.. Dunno if that helps.

That's usually when they get blasted to pieces by just about every Epic with even a piss-poor excuse for an AoE though
