Default LU42 Conjuror Related Changes /yawn

GAMEPLAY

* Summoners are now granted an additional spell at level 2 so they can complete Arcane Storm properly.

Who cares?


ITEMS

* Bracelet of Thuuga now increases Spell Damage instead of Healing

About time!

ZONES

* Charasis: the Maiden's Chamber

* Drusella Sathir:
Drusella's Necromantic Aura now initially clears all hostile spells cast on her.

Go go DoT's!!! Trivializing content even more!

PETS

* Pets should now be able to keep up with their owners.
* Each pet will now keep his name when zoning instead of all using the current pet name.

But did they fix pet pathing which was a major contributing factor to pets not keeping up? Nooo!


Pet Options Window

* The pet options window allows you to set custom options for every pet you have. To open this window, right click on a pet and choose Pet Options or type /petoptions. Settings persist through recasting of your pet and include:
Pet Name
Pet Hide Status
Controllable pet states:
- Protect Me
- Protect Self
- Stay
- Follow
- Fight Melee
- Fight Ranged

Connection Stats Window

* We've added a connection statistics window which will show your ping, bytes per second, frames per second and packet loss. The default key to toggle this window is F11.

Remember, pet commands and our dps are affected by extreme latency

Pets now use the conjuror's health to cast... so if you are using a bloodthirstey, you are screwed.

And about Thuuga's... Who the hell needs spell damage? Give us crit chances... Even if it is only 1%, better than yet another spell damage stat.

Also, now that my pet keeps up with me, I finally get to hear the frigging annoying trumping all the time! YAY for suicide tendencies!

I haven't actively played with sounds turned on since about 2 weeks after I started playing some years ago. It helps a lot. Music, Vent, TV, whatever, anything but the extremely repetitive noise of EQ2.

You know, there are classes besides summoners. and the bracelet is for all mages, not only summoners. So the +spell damage could be perfectly valid for let's say a wizard. And also for us it's nice to have. You can always take another +damage and change that for +crit if you like ;)

They seem to have messed up on the 'pets keeping up' part... Or is that just me? Both mine and guildy necro's pets are still not keeping up with us. Are we an oddity or did they just not bother with it?

Squishy does NOT mean useless...just check the Parse if you have questions.

No, it's not you, Pet's are still not keeping up with us. According to SoE they fixed the issue, I however do not see any change whatsoever in my pets ability to keep up.
