no LU 42 on Valor yet, but some ideas.
-Mage tower in south qeynos, back in the beginning we also had do to our trial there
if not in qeynos, I think it is somewhere in RoK
-maybe temple of fire/ice in jarsath, would match our elemental thing

Can't think of any other places/npcs that are conjurer/summoner related.
Anyone have infos from EQ1?

just read a little in the other class forums. Seems the starter is a drop, so no specific place.

Yeah, its a drop in RoK zones from mobs related with your class. Temple of fire/ice mobs drop the one for necros.

From temple of white lady, a little swirling ice thing called psychomalleable ice will give abilities etc when you click it. The abilities are called query element and dominate element.

ok related: the fish guys in fens have our water heal pets. Should try these than.

use the abilities you get to gain control of a wounded air elemental and take to terens grasp (unconfirmed).

can use query element followed by dominate element to control any docile elemental, such as the fire elementals in skyfire, or the air elementals near terens grasp.
