"I've been on a few raids over the last month and it seems like at level 80 im doing the same dps as i was at level 70. At the same time, the scout classes which had a hard time out dpsing me before are now doing double what I am today.

Did we get screwed this last expansion or do I need to rethink my aa line"

Ok, a few constructive things, which you may or may not know.

1. Many old master spells from t7 are better than t8 adept three-if you had all or mostly masters from last tier, check the new adept threes that you have-you'd be surprised, some of the adept threes...suck. If you possess your t7 m1 mage and your adept three mage, you'll see that your t8 ad3 mage does...less damage than old m1...unfortunately, in VP, you can't use your old m1 pet, cause it just will get resisted like a mofo, about 10-25% of the time, and not worth it. I can tell you right now that my old M1 pet, before i got my mythical, did a hell of a lot more damage than the crapola ad3 mage i was slouching around with.

2. Gear-a few suggestions I have, and i don't know if bigron will agree, but this is what I'm finding: First, I do have my mythical AND the fabled choker from Shard of fear, so I now have a Master four pet, and a kick ass wand. I get a 10% base increase to damage from the mythical, and 10% increase from the choker, so that means that a) my crits, when they do hit, are much higher b) my base damage for spells, including procs, is 20% higher and finally c) your limits on Bolt of Energy(+to spell damage you see on your gear) is much higher as well, all of which add up to a bunch more dps. Third, in my experience, get spell reuse timer gear if you can. If you don't have your chel'drak ring, GO DO the quests and then kill chelnoob, that right there reduces ALL spell timers by 5%...if leviathan sealed pants drop, get em-they're not superfantasticalicious stats wise, but that's another 4% reuse reduction...lava channeling sleeves off hoshkar in VP reduce 5% to beneficial spells, which you may not know it, but your pet temporary dps buffs and plane shift ARE beneficial spells...the cloak from venril sathir(it's rare, only dropped for us once so far)...if you are on a server where the top guilds are ignoring the contested Mayong, get your guild to go kill him-every time he's up-he drops a secondary item, the dark orb of the mind, might not have the name right, that procs 10% increase in base damage. With just THOSE THREE(mythical, choker, and dark orb) items...you have increased your overall dps by...20-25%, minimum. Gear makes a big difference, in my experience. Of course, if you're a complete noob, that won't help, not saying that you are though.

Tonight we did T1 for the dough...i had warlock, templar, troub, assasin, and pally in pawbuster and on some of those mobs(yes, i know, i have the mythical) 6500ish...imagine if i had a wizard and illusionist in group, but they were pumpin alts through for their mythicals as well, so meh...however, all people in the guild do have their mythicals so raidwide POTM helped me as well, i know this(before you other turds jump on me)

That's all I got for right now. Get your mythical ASAP...sounds like your guild might be struggling with it for a while. Run through Shard of Fear EVERY DAY until you get that choker, it's late, i forget what it's called, but it's kickass. Raid contested Mayong if he's not locked down by another guild and get that dark orb...i'm still waiting for mine, it's REALLY good.

Onkello I think my problem might be in my gear ... right now I only have a 19% bonus to Crit dmg. and very little to + spell dmg. I choose to go after max INT but mabye ill rethink my gear choices.

As for set-up and AA im pretty much set up as it is posted on this site... all maxed down the Ebate line, with INT of 6,4,4,8,1 STR 4,4,4,8 and WIS 4,4,6,8,1

Im told Bubble AA is a way to go to keep the pet alive and the Heal line / stoneskin is not as good as its made out to be to keep the pet alive. Any suggestion on that ... i know this forum says to go down and get the group stone skin

Also your lev 72 ...how much more dps increase did you exspect to be doing especially from judgeing your gear choices i cant imagine AA set up and so on and so forth.

Hell the lev 80 conj in your guild has fucked gear choices to........

I understand its PvP server but with the gear you have in your profile and lev 80 guild mate there are quested collection items that are must haves regardless of pve or pvp imo.

Here is best thing to do....read the stickies....Do research on what other people are wearing via eq2players........and FFS get to lev 80 to find where you really stand compared to t7.

Two old but supposedly extremely essential items for Conjurors; one obtainable by doing the 'Draco Mortuus vos Liberatio' Heritage Quest, the other one by turning in the Level 65 Collection 'Mystical Orbs'.

You can't judge your determination of Vox by looking at Queen's Guard. We don't have the best set of raiders worldwide, or even close to it, but Queen's Guard is definitely not the best Vox has to offer.

The only guilds who raid anything even half successfully are Reckoning and Crimson, with Torment sometimes rez zergs mobs to death.

I mean, ffs, i 4 box my conjy for farming purposes and he's better geared/better AA'd.

The only bad AA choice I have is that I'm all scout pet spec'd, since I use the toon primarily to farm instances and heroic mobs with. I'll be getting a mirror and setting up a raid aa as well as soon as I get around to doing the ro quests.

If you had a conjy worth being called top world wide, they'd have exiled and joined a real raiding guild by now.

Not trying to be a dick, but my 3-4 boxed conjuror parses 3k on fights, while i'm parsing 2500 on my zerker and 1200 on my dirge.

There's no way a person playing ONLY a conjy should parse 2k and call themselves "top 25 worldwide".
