Default AoE's

I only have my fabled epic.

I've been reading some of these posts and have changed around some of my AA's to get back to my ubahness pre-RoK. However, I am struggling a lil bit.

I hope someone can give me some insight.

I am taking huge hits on my Master mage pet and am trying to find away to keep him up without dying to every AE in every raid instance I go into.

I specc'ed out of Bubble as I heard it wasn't as effective now as it was in EoF.

I spend more time trying to recast my pet to get my dps to ramp back up and am getting blown away on the parse.

The only thing I can think of doing is going back into Bubble, and on call for AE to hit...pull my pet back within range, disengage it and pray the AE doesn't lay the smack down.

Pet Mgmt seems to be my only answer at the moment. Think anyone can give me any pointers to help so I can keep on my dps and spell mashing and not have to worry too much about an AE smacking the shit out of my pet each time.

It's gotten so bad, that I am starting to think about maxing our pet recast time.

You have hit it pretty close, go down foundations, so that you can have at least 2 stoneskins for your pet. I'm still using bubble since i don't have my mythical yet, and TBH it does help as long as you have a competent person calling the AE's out for you (or your timing them yourself with ACT). Dead pet = Crappy Conjy DPS at the end of the day. I don't think anyone really came out of bubble/foundations for keeping thier pet alive until after they got thier mythical. If they did then i'm not sure how they keep thier pet alive either.

Also go get enhanced intervention to cut the recast by a ton....and learn what type of AE. will be hitting so can just go with a veahment.

Also can go to end line in wisdom tree for help on the smaller type AEs.

Yeah I try to alternate death prevention with stoneskin on aoe's at least on all T1 zones I don't have to use bubble at all and can keep my pet dps'ing the whole time.

Yeah I thought about the WIS line to the bottom to hit power on 2/3's of dmg pet takes but that would take too much from other lines that I rely on for crits and dps.

Catch 22...bleh

I will try your suggestions though...thanks for some input.

I have been having this issue as well. I have even been using bubble, but even though I pull my pet off it still dies. And well stoneskin is only up like every 4-5 min. They really need to fix our bubble. It shouldn't be so easy for our pets to die since this is most of our dps.

You have to have your pet stop attacking for 2-3s before an AoE goes off, else your pet will still be hit by it.

Timing is everything, as Pinski says, when you hear AE in 10,9,8 (pet leash, pet off, summon pet) 5,4,3, (boom) pet attack.. keep rolling..Rinse and repeat...

Don't want to have the pet stop attacking... when count gets to AE in 5, summon pet, Vehement skin or Stoneskine depending on type of AE (if you have dropped at least 1 in AA line) and keep rolling.

Also make sure he is within 5m of you or else he won't be in range for bubble to take hold. Make sure to make use of call servant (summons pet to your position) if he is somehow too far to make it to you in time.
