For a second there I thought you were using the Tank or Air pet, then I realized it was Communion. I'm also noticing plenty of resists on Flameshield in general, even outside raid content.

I think the problem then is partially Communion (though resists are still much higher across the board). Communion pets don't benefit from raidwide buffs, group buffs, or even your pet's offense/defense stance buffs, from what I've observed. It's purely dependent on the mob being debuffed. Not to mention if your main pet is Fire, then Communion is Earth/Air, and they behave like all swarms: Make a beeline to the mob, ignore positioning, possibly getting parries/ripostes if it decides to path wrong.

That's exactly what my analysis was after watching those numbers on ACT. Those appeared to be combat from Communion. Time to find Communion M1 and testing that. But everything else I had was at like 97+% hit rate. It appears Unabate might not be our problem.

Communion will lower your hit raite a good bit, when taking into account how many times you cast it ZW it's a big chunk of 50-75% hit rats that drop your over all hit%. If you take out the crush and pierce and CA's from your tank and air pet, your hit rate will rise to almost 98-99% again easy. When looking at my VP hit rates at the end of the night, after i've looked at my over all stuff, i'll take those spells and CA's out of ACT and see what my reall hit% for me and my fire pet are, and normally i'm back to upper 90's again.

Which would mean Unabate is doing exactly what it should be doing. Keeping us and the primary pet at 96-99% hit rate.

Fix Communion hit rate in '08!

Cause it lowers your hit rate, although that part doesn't affect your DPS at all? Communion is cast on every encounter I can. It significantly raises my DPS on raids.

the master 1 is pretty nice :D im noticing huge increases on vp trash when i cast it. ( if i cant cast it pre pull sometimes i wont bother cause the mob will be at 95% or lower before it gets off)
