Default is unabate a placebo

tonight in vp after seeing some high 80's low 90's disappointing hit rates i tried something to test... i stopped casting unabate for the last half of the raid and noticed no real difference in to hit %. curious if anyone has done any testing to see if unabate actually works or is it just a time sink buff placebo to make us think we got something good.

anyway first half of the raid crystal blast had a 87.4 hit rate at adept 3 after dropping unabate after raid was over crystal blast was 87.5% for the total raid

so instead of a significant drop in hit% it actually went up .1% with unabate off would like to have others test this to see if its bugged

Was thinking about testing this aswell. Kinda hoped it would help somewhat with the changes from last GU.

I hope it's not there just to make a difference on heroic content :|

87% hitrate, ummmm, that's definitely lack of debuffs! Has been something like 92-94 for me lately. Also started using claymore reward to see if it makes any difference :P

/Agree that's a pretty low hit rate. I'm hitting 96-99% in VP still. but the mob is debuffed constantly.

It seems that Unabate is applying to spells unevenly, but does appear to be applying as far as the game is concerned.

Some quick and dirty tests, using the examine window for all infos:

Solidify Adept III: 1% Easier without, 17% Harder with
Crystal Blast Adept III: 29% Harder without, 41% Harder with.
Earthquake Master II: 24% Harder without, 39% Harder with.

Will of course need to parse to confirm.

most of the raid i was fighting druushk who apparently is pretty resistant to magic, however i ussualy run mid 90's its the low hit rate that had me wondering if unabate was doing anything for me

I've noticed that unabate has been acting shitty since the epics and these numbers are starting to confirm it....sorry for being lazy and not bringing it up

This is something I noticed. These attacks here are what's driving my hit rate down. Everything else is much higher. I'm also not quite sure what they are from, or whatever.
