So let's see, using Crystal Blast as our template spell.

20% base damage from AAs
10% base damage from mythical
10% from Choker (and better)
15% from Fabled 2 set bonus
10% from Fabled Sleeves
10% from Trak Belt and another 10% from Mayong Orb (if you have them)
10% from Troubador with Mythical
Total: 95% base damage.

Doesn't that put our new BoE cap for Crystal Blast in the 1200-1400 range or something like that?

From what I've heard, the cap to Base damage is not 50%, but quite a ways higher.

wasn't it 50% before? I saw it stated on the official forums ages ago. Is this being changed, in line with your posting there? Or was the dev wrong/uninformed (shocking I know)?

Ah, I also forgot the Shadowknight raidwide buff is like 5% spell base damage. That would bring us to 100% base damage (But who raids with Shadowknights?).

Its never been capped at 50 pct....actually believe wizzys can already achieveover 50 pct with gar/aa and its linear with out a curve such as casing haste and such

Ok newb question here so please be gentle as I am still learning this class...

I looked at the conj spells and didn't see anything that correlated to "BoE" so can someone please explain what BoE is..

BoE = Spell damage

(BoE is short for Bolt of Energy, I belive that is what it was called before they changed the name of effects to be more intuitive)
