Hopefully im on crack but when I posses my pet the increase in hp and casting speeds are there for him but not the spell dmg...I also have a belt that gives 75 boe to the pet and it is there...anyone else have this issue?

Well after possessing my pet a few times and examining the spells with and without the staff it does appear to directly affect their dmg...i just am curious why the 75 from my belt shows up in the persona window and the 125 from the staff doesnt...
