i doubt you can judge how broken we really are for raiding right now !

Yups that is the problem in most guilds and if then the Conjuror is a good player or has better gear or whatever they think our class is doing ok.

Raid the new zones, try avatars and be in a guild where players are equal (skill and gear) and THEN tell me we are doing OK

I am not saying we cannot parse high (10-12k yeah) BUT then the wizard will parse 12-14k (same fight just an example) and adds some stuff for the group or the Illusionist who is supposed to be utility can parse 10k too, so no need to think twice who is sitting out.

Leave alone all the pet issues (mentioned a 100 times before)

Chanter dps is not that awesome on any serious mob..
Fact is that as well as summoners get hosed by aoes we chanters suffer from mobs' dmg shields if we try to dps, thank soe for breaking procs off dot ticks AGAIN. Sorcerers almost never get that dps-reducing dmg shield procs >< . Say we have a palace trash run, a wizzie with 13k zonewide and an illu with 11k, which is reasonable. Now lets look to the parse, wizzie has some 700 spell hits zonewide and the illu has 8-9k+ without 100% proc shit, that is pretty much the proportion of illu and wizzie getting mob's dmg shield procs. Im not saying summoners are ok, but quit pointing towards chanters' dps, it matters shit on any serious content, where the 'real' dps classes are needed. And taking trash figths even a fury can make a 7k zonewide on palace trash keeping his grp up, it doesnt mean he will parse 7k on an avatar.

Neither. /Pet attack /afk. Easy enough. EQ2 got to be so tedious before I quit for good that I couldn't even stand to attempt to play hard, especially in heroic zones....

I joined a tier 6 group tonight to get aa and I was horrible. We did courts and the gator and poets palace return. my screen would completely stop on the frickin huge encounters of single ups that i could have rocked in poets. The coercer did 15k on some fights and I did 100dps on the fight. I want to throw my fucking computer out the window.
