Pet name question

So ya I'm prolly retarded but fuck it.

My parser shows that my old pet name is still DPSing.

Seems the old pet name is my old tank pet (at least).

I have communion at master and tank pet at ad3. I right click on my pet to change its name but I can't (communion pet).

And fuck me gently with a chainsaw because I'm drunk but I could almost swear my dagger AA is also named my old pet name.

So what the fuck do I do? Granted we are a shit class nowadays but I want to have all my parses name under my name so I can show those other fucking finger douches I can outparse them... sometimes.

And fuck you!!! My old pet name is "nootydoodle".

Judge and I will come to your house and slit you and your family's throats, and nobody wants that except the Nootydoodles. Trust me on this.

Here is what might be your problem homie!

I had this happen too... I had a macro for my pets

For example: Summon Earth pet /petname Monstar [it was his name] in the macro, this way i could control the names of my pets as i summon them

Thing was that the next pet i summoned was named Monstar, which would be my earth pet granted, but also my dumbfires that i would summon had /petname Monstar macro'd to them... so they would show up as Monstar on the parse, and the same with communion

So check your macros and make sure the commands are in proper place with your summoning... thats if you use macros of course

I had the same thing, tried changing my tank pets name in the pet window and it didn't work. Every time i through out communion my tank pet would show up under his old name.

Some one on the WW channel told me to pull every know pet up one by one and rename them using the command for pet name. That worked for me, the command is /petname yournamehere

This happened to me once before. Each pet for communion keeps the name it was last summoned as, so what Grog is saying should be the fix. If it does not work, just petition it.

heh, I had this too, with a little twist. I had communion ad3 and a ad3 scoutpet. Named it "Scout" to test its dps on the wall in KJ. Upgraded it to master1 (didnt rename) and tested again to see the difference (what a joke!) Well, when I renamed it back to my own name it just wouldnt change the communion scoutpet name, no matter what I did. The others were fine, just the scout pet. I think it was because the scoutpet of Communion was ad3 and the scoutpet I renamed was master1, thus a different pet. Anyho, as soon as I got communion in master1 the issue was gone.
