when they did away with spell tiers as we formely knew them... our master 4 pet turned to grandmaster aka master 2, is it just me or does it seem like the pet is doing alot less dps, i havent raided yet with it to see actual numbers only parsed agaisnt the training dummie and notice a significant drop in pet dps
just look for a post of the dmg spread and INt and compare.. sure it might vary slightly from other post here since pet effects might differ but you should be able to see and big nerf like difference. i'll look on my necro when i get home too.
someone with screen shots of pre change spells on the pet should compare with the post change. i could see this getting interesting if they dropped the level of the spell from master 4 to equal the grandmaster tag...
I took off all of my Power Flux, etc. gear and screenshotted my pet spells. Comparing them to the numbers in this thread the damage appears to be the same, accounting for the 8% damage from Weapon Mastery.
yeah the original cause for alarm was a screenshot i had taken awhile back but hadnt thought of the gear i was wearing at the time, i was wearing a significant amount of pet spell damage/ pet crit gear and wasnt wearing that gear when i logged in this morning and noticed the master 4 to grandmaster switch, after putting on simmilar gear to my ss i used as refrence it doesnt seem to be any change
